孔子語(yǔ)錄的翻譯
1、知者樂(lè )水，仁者樂(lè )山。知者動(dòng)，仁者靜。知者樂(lè )，仁者壽。The wise find pleasure in water;the virtuous find pleasure in hills.The wise are active;the virtuous are tranquil.The wise are joyful;the virtuous are long-lived.
2、人無(wú)遠慮，必有近憂(yōu)。If a man take no thought about what is distant,he will find sorrow near at hand.
3、言必信，行必果。Keep what you say and carry out what you do.
4、有朋自遠方來(lái)，不亦樂(lè )乎?Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters?
5、德不孤，必有鄰。Virtue is not left to stand alone.He who practices it will have neighbors.
6、不患人之不己知，患不知人也。I will not be afflicted at men’s not knowing me;I will be afflicted that I do not know men.
7、非禮勿視，非禮勿聽(tīng)，非禮勿言，非禮勿動(dòng)。Look not at what is contrary to propriety;listen not to what is contrary to propriety;speak not what is contrary to propriety;make no movement which is contrary to propriety.

諺語(yǔ)的翻譯方法
一、直譯法：只要是在能理解的范圍內，都應該盡量使用直譯法，把原文的內容、形式和精神都輸入到譯文中去，給閱讀者以“原汁原味”的感覺(jué)。例如：
1、In the country of the blind the one-eyed man is king.(盲人國中，獨眼稱(chēng)雄。)
2、Barking dogs seldom bite.(愛(ài)叫的狗不咬人。)
3、As a long road tests a horse’s strength,so a long task proves a person’s heart.(路遙知馬力，日久見(jiàn)人心。)
4、A wise fox will never rob his neighbour’s hen roost.(聰明的狐貍，不偷鄰里。)
二、意譯法：無(wú)法進(jìn)行直譯時(shí)，我們就沒(méi)必要追求原文的字面意義和形式了，而是把原文的內存含義譯出來(lái)。如果硬是進(jìn)行直譯，反而會(huì )使譯文讀者不知所云，或使譯文牽強附會(huì )。例如：
1、A good dog deserves a good bone.(有功者受賞。)
2、A loss may turn out to be a gain.(塞翁失馬，安知非福?)
3、A good conscience is a soft pillow.(不做虧心事，不怕鬼敲門(mén)。)
4、When Greek meets Greek,then comes the tug of war.(兩雄相爭，其斗必烈。)
三、直譯兼意譯法：既不好完全直譯，也不好完全意譯。這時(shí)就應該用直譯兼意譯法。例如：
1、Lifting a rock only to have his own toes squashed.(搬起石頭打自己的腳。)
2、Man proposes,God disposes.(謀事在人，成事在天。)
3、Until all is over,ambition never dies.(不到黃河心不死。)
4、Facts speak louder than words.(事實(shí)勝于雄辯。)
