德國新天鵝堡 ( Schloss Neuschwanstein )

城堡在國王路德維希二世時(shí)期從1868年起開(kāi)始修建（設計者：愛(ài)德華·里德?tīng)?從1874年起格奧爾格·多爾曼）。巨大的城堡修建于峭壁及河谷200米之上，首次對外開(kāi)放于1886年的8月1日，即在路德維希過(guò)世后不久。孤寂的國君終將他朋友理查德·瓦格納的歌劇變?yōu)楝F實(shí)。城堡正是由理查德·瓦格納的歌劇《羅恩格林》中的天鵝騎士而得名的。它是德國最受歡迎的觀(guān)光勝地，同時(shí)被稱(chēng)為世界上被拍攝過(guò)最多次的建筑，它甚至啟發(fā)了美國迪斯尼樂(lè )園的睡美人城堡。

舊天鵝堡

Schwangau南面還有舊天鵝堡。這個(gè)新哥特風(fēng)格的城堡是在1832至1836年間為馬克西米利安二世國王修建的。城堡的內部是Fresken和Wilhelm Lindenschmitt根據Moritz von Schwind的創(chuàng )意，并結合古日耳曼神化裝飾的。舊天鵝堡目前是屬于私人擁有，不像新天鵝堡那樣對公眾隨意開(kāi)放，因此參觀(guān)人數是受限的，以家庭團為主。從Schwangau步行約25分鐘可到達城堡。
