Words: skirt, shirt, sweater, new, old, Additional materials to bring to class: marker, paper, pencil, and eraser Teaching steps 1. Show the students these things one by one. And ask What’s it? Do you like it? The things are markers, paper, pencils, and erasers. Then lead in: Do you like beautiful clothes? Let’s see the Skirt and Shirt today. 2. Show students the pictures on PowerPoint. They are skirts, shirts, and sweaters. There are new and old ones. Ask students “What’s it?” Lead the students read the words under the pictures. Ask them : What’s it? Do you like it? 3. Let them ask and answer --What’s it? --It’ s a skirt/shirt/sweater. --Is it new or old? --It’s old. Play a guessing game Guess the clothes(sweater , shirt, skirt). Is it new or old? Is it a/an…? 4. Let’s see the new lesson today. Listen to the tape. Remember the clothes you hear. Students may answer “skirt and shirt” Or “a new skirt and an old shirt”. 6. Listen and repeat. Step II Presentation 1. Ask the students to talk about their favourite clothes and what colour their clothes are. 2. The teacher shows some pictures of shorts, pants, shoes and socks. 3. Teach a pair of. When we talk about what we are wearing, we can say I’m wearing a shirt. But we can’t say I’m wearing a pants. We must say I’m wearing a pair of pants, because pants have two legs. And so is a pair of shoes. 4 Listen to the tape and repeat the phrases (1) in chorus (2) individually. Step III Discussion Group work. Discuss in groups: What is/are your favourtie clothes? In a group, one is a leader. The leader should ask the other students: Do you like…? The other students should answer one by one. Say: Yes, I do. /No, I don’t. Shorts/ Shirts/ Skirts/ Pants are my favourite clothes. At last the leader should give a report to the class. e.g. Pants are my favourite clothes. T-shirts are WangMing’s favourite clothes. Step IV Presentation The teacher ask the students some questions, like What day is it today? Today is Wednesday. How many days are there in a week? Do you know? Yes, there are seven days. Now let’s get to know the days of a week. Then the teacher teaches Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Say, Sunday is the first day of a week. We go to school from Monday to Friday. We stay at home on Saturday and Sunday. Step V Let’s sing a song. 1. 課文研討
一、整體把握
閱讀這篇課文,可以學到作者小時候"在那座小懸崖上所學到的經驗",這是戰(zhàn)勝一切艱難險阻的人生經驗。無論怎樣的危險和困難,只要把它分解開來,分解為一小步一小步,困難就不大了。"你只要想著你是在走一小步","走了這一步再走下一步",一步一步走下去,有天大的困難也可以闖過來。
關鍵是化整為零。大困難是由小困難組成的,小困難是不難戰(zhàn)勝的,一步一步戰(zhàn)勝了小困難,最后就是戰(zhàn)勝了巨大的困難。當然,重要的還在于走好每一步,一步一步堅持不懈地走下去。
這種人生經驗,給人以戰(zhàn)勝一切艱難險阻的信心。"我"爬到石架,上不去,下不來,陷于絕望、恐懼,聽了父親的話,覺得一小步,"似乎能辦得到",第一步成功,"頓時有了信心",第二步成功,"信心大增"。這個經驗,使他在今后的人生道路上,能對付一切。
作者從一件往事,感悟到一個人生哲理,成為一筆精神財富。這給我們一個啟示,生活中要善于感悟,要善于從事件中悟到道理。哲理是有普遍意義的,善于感悟,人就會聰明起來。感悟對于寫作也極重要,這篇課文記敘的雖然只是一次歷險,立意卻很高,富有教益。
一篇課文,可以從不同角度去探究,獲得多方面的教益。父親眼看孩子在懸崖石架上下不來,明知一不小心就會摔死??墒撬⒉簧先ゾ茸o孩子。細讀父親怎樣教孩子下來,很有意思??磥?,這位父親深知,如果自己上去救,孩子自己的能力就毫無長進。他讓孩子自己下來,經受一次歷練,增長勇氣和經驗。事實上,"我"確實從中得到了難忘的經驗。這個父親是很懂得怎樣訓練孩子的,自己只給予指導、鼓勵,這樣可以使一個孱弱的孩子獲得信心,變得勇敢。從孩子的角度來說,路要自己走,不能老是讓大人抱著走,在自己走的過程中,要從大人那里接受經驗。
再看五個孩子。是杰利去把父親找來的,他是富有友情的。其他四個孩子呢,則把"我"丟在那兒不管,還無情地嘲笑,對一起玩的伙伴竟然如此,真夠惡劣。
記敘的周密值得借鑒。為什么五個孩子都能爬上崖頂,而"我"只能爬到三分之一高度的巖石架,而且上不去,下不來,嚇得要死呢?文章多處提到自己的病弱,就是伏筆。幾處提到杰利,筆筆都見匠心。關于懸崖,既說明其險,又說明險的程度,都是必要而周密的交待。"我"的心理活動也寫得很好,值得揣摩。
二、問題研究
1.開頭為什么突出"悶熱"?
開頭一段是說孩子們怎么會想到爬懸崖的,寫天氣悶熱,就寫了動因,他們是想爬到懸崖上去涼爽涼爽。
2.為什么下文與悶熱照應的語句一點也沒有呢?
確實沒有,看來是個缺點,最好是前后有所照應。
3.未段說"看到前途茫茫而灰心喪氣",又說"直到抵達我要到的地方",既然要到的地方"很明確",為什么又說"前途茫茫"呢?
這里"前途茫茫"的意思是不知道怎樣才能抵達我要到的地方,困難重重,舉步維艱。
練習說明
一朗讀課文,復述故事情節(jié),說說你從中悟出了什么生活哲理。
本題著眼于整體把握課文內容,理解中心意思。既練朗讀,又練說話。朗讀要以"讀音準確,停頓恰當,能初步讀出語氣"三點要求給予指導和評價。
本文蘊含的哲理:在人生道路上,不管面對怎樣的艱難險阻,只要把大困難分解為小困難,一個一個地認真地解決小困難,終將戰(zhàn)勝巨大的困難,贏得最后的勝利。
二在下邊兩種情況下,你將分別說些什么,做些什么,說出來與同學交流一下。
1.假如"我"的父親沒有來,你作為"我"的同學,將怎么辦?
2.假如你是"我",孤身一人在懸崖上,將怎么辦?
本題讓學生走進課文,培養(yǎng)患難與共的愛心,同時激勵勇敢精神。本題又是口語交際訓練,應熱情鼓勵學生發(fā)言,讓學生自由言說,教師可因勢利導。
三生活中難免遇到過困難,你遇到過什么困難?是怎樣處理的?有什么經驗教訓?寫出來,張貼在教室里。
本題結合課文,引導學生總結人生經驗。這既是練筆活動,又是交流活動。沒有字數規(guī)定,但宜短小精悍。書寫標題,設計花邊要求美觀。張貼,布置專欄,可指定若干同學,負責編輯。
教學建議
一、抓住重點進行探究。
探究的重點,主要放在篇末所說的"經驗"上面,探究"走一步,再走一步"的.含義。
可以設計一些問題引導學生研究:把艱難的歷程分成一小步一小步是什么意思?面對艱難險阻,"不要想著距離有多遠。你只要想著你是在走一小步",這有什么好處?"走了這一步,再走下一步",又意味著什么?
二、引導學生多角度思考課文。
研討"走一步,再走一步"的含義之后,可以再從父親教子的角度,讓學生思考:父親為什么不怕孩子失足摔死?為什么不上去抱他下來?從這個角度去思考,可以發(fā)現一個新的問題,得到新的啟示。
三、教學設計
指導思想
1.讓學生在主動積極的思維和情感活動中,加深理解和體驗,有所感悟和思考,受到情感熏陶,獲得思想啟迪,享受審美樂趣。

教學步驟
第一課時
1.導語
(1)讓一個同學讀"導語"。
(2)"導語"補充。
"導語"中說"寫的是'我'童年時一次'脫險'的經歷",既然是"脫險",那么,是什么險呢?怎么會陷入險境的呢?又是怎么能脫險的呢?時隔57年,65歲的作者為什么要寫這次經歷呢?說"其中蘊含著生活的哲理",是什么哲理呢?
2.默讀
默讀要注意速度,要從每分鐘300字提高到500字,本文大約1500字,要求4分半鐘看完。到時說"時間到"。
3.復述故事情節(jié)
(1)復述前的準備──搶答:
──故事發(fā)生在美國哪個城市?
──故事發(fā)生在什么時間?
──爬懸崖的一共幾個孩子?有名字的有哪兩個?
──那座懸崖有多高?巖石架有多高?
(2)把故事分成兩部分,前一部分可謂"冒險",后一部分可謂"脫險",請一個同學復述"冒險",一個同學復述"脫險"。
(3)根據復述的得失,想一想自己的默讀應該怎樣改進。把經驗記下來。
4.字詞教學
看課本列出的詞語,看注釋,查詞典,讀一讀,講一講。
5.朗讀訓練
要求:用普通話正確、流利、有感情地朗讀,注意發(fā)音、停頓、重音、語調、速度。
6.課文主旨研討
(1)從課文內容看,標題"走一步,再走一步"是什么意思?
(2)在人生道路上,面對困難,"走了這一步,再走下一步"是什么意思?
(3)一個巨大的困難分成"一步一步",是什么意思?
(4)為什么不要想著距離有多遠?
7.小結這次研討的經驗。

1.多角度閱讀
(1)學習方法指導
一篇文章,除了探究中心意思之外,還可以多角度地閱讀,這樣讀就不至于老是往一個方面去想,能讀得有創(chuàng)意,能提高閱讀質量。多角度閱讀,首先要確立角度,關鍵也在于確立角度。怎樣確立角度呢?可以著眼于某一人物,也可以著眼于某一情節(jié),提出問題,思考問題。舉個例子說,評論杰利什么地方做得對,什么地方做得不太好,就是一個角度。這樣的角度課文中很多。
(2)確定角度
學生先說,教師啟發(fā)、整理。
──父親怎樣教孩子脫險?
──評論杰利。
──評論四個孩子
(3)探究問題
──石架大約7米高,扛梯子把孩子抱下來要保險得多,也簡單得多,父親為什么不這樣做?他的辦法有什么普遍意義?
──哪些地方寫到杰利,請一一加以評論。
──請評論四個孩子的行為。
──假如"我"的父親沒有來,你作為"我"的同學,將怎么辦?
──假如你是"我",孤身一人在懸崖上,將怎么辦?
2.語言運用
學習語文要注重語言的積累、感悟和運用,注重基本技能的訓練。運用可以從模仿開始,不會說的學著說,堅持不懈,語言能力就會逐步提高。請利用下列格式,在橫線上補出詞語,表達自己想說的一個意思。
